Please read our cancellation policy and terms of stay carefully.
1. Securing Your Booking
To secure your dates at Villa Tartaruga, a 50% deposit of the total accommodation fee must be paid within 24 hours of making the reservation. Failure to provide proof of payment within this window will result in the automatic expiration and cancellation of your provisional booking.
2. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. However, due to the exclusive nature of our accommodation, short-notice cancellations result in a significant loss of income. Our cancellation policy is strictly tiered to reflect the liability of the total booking amount:
- 45+ Days Before Check-in: Cancellations made 45 days or more prior to the scheduled check-in date incur a 0% penalty (100% refund of any deposit paid).
- 28 to 44 Days Before Check-in: Cancellations made between 28 and 44 days prior to the scheduled check-in date incur a penalty of 50% of the total booking price (Deposit forfeited).
- 27 Days or Less Before Check-in: Cancellations made 27 days or less prior to the scheduled check-in date incur a penalty of 100% of the total booking price. The client is legally liable for the full booking amount, and no refunds will be issued.
3. Breakage Deposit
A refundable breakage deposit of R2,500.00 is required with your final payment. This deposit will be refunded within 5 to 7 working days after checkout, provided the property is left in good condition and no items are damaged or missing.
4. Liability & Indemnity
By booking your stay at Villa Tartaruga, you acknowledge that access requires a 4x4 vehicle. Villa Tartaruga, its owners, and its staff shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or accidents that occur on the property or during transit. Guests enter and use the facilities entirely at their own risk.
